Wear a piece of history! Our jewelry includes spectacular sterling silver examples of southwestern Navaho and Zuni old pawn jewelry as part of our collection.
Most pieces are signed or initialed by the artist. Sterling cuffs, inlaid pendants, bracelets, and belt buckles were designed using red coral, lapis, jett, mother of pearl, and turquoise from the famous Royston, Kingman, and Sleeping Beauty mines.
Give your favorite cowboy or girl a striking one-of-a-kind piece with obvious quality.
Our furniture includes antique and lodge furnishings selected for their classic sporting appeal: fantastic tables, bookcases, hunt boards, chests, bar stools, and other items seen in the finest sporting clubs, lodges, plantations, or your own home.
We personally select each piece for the beauty and function it represents. Wood species include longleaf heart pine, walnut, and aged oak. Some of our lodge furniture is made of repurposed wood over 250 years old from plantations across the South.
The hunting items reflect a simpler period of time and limited production of sporting equipment. We carry vintage duck decoys and duck calls, gun cases, rare ammo boxes, silver trophies, and personalized hunting signs on 100-year-old wood.
The fishing collection includes the type of rods and tackles used by Ernest Hemingway and Zane Grey. The art reveals the highest quality sporting scenes that reflect the visual and spiritual side of sporting adventures, mindful of a day spent on a field or stream.
Sporting Treasures was established in 2003 to promote and preserve high-quality items from Circa 1890-1940, the golden era of hunting and fishing.
As lifelong collectors, we search old hunting and fishing lodges, antique stores and auctions, and old barns and estate sales to seek our next treasure. Our spotters refer items to us that reflect a simpler, less complicated time and a more beautiful period of our outdoor history.
This golden era of hunting and fishing was a time when high-quality artwork and advertising were considered a necessary part of marketing. Companies used the best naturalist and wildlife artists in the world to promote their products.
As the new age of television and mass production encroached into the outdoor world, the great illustrators and carvers died out, and new manufacturing techniques came into use.
Although effective, newer items do not evoke warm, heartfelt memories like hand-carved duck decoys or the old bamboo rods that many of us remember from our early days of hunting and fishing.
We hope that our attention to detail and desire to provide only the highest quality in each item will always exceed your expectations. Your satisfaction with each purchase is most important to us.
Our inventory includes hand-carved duck decoys, bamboo rods, old reels, collectible fishing lures, custom framed vintage outdoor magazines and calendar prints, lodge furnishings, antler and fish mounts, walnut bookcases, hand painted signs, fantastic blanket chests, pewter and bronze castings, outstanding silver trophies, one-of-a-kind sporting lamps, Southwestern and Indian jewelry, and Authentic farm tables with carefully selected aged woods from old barns or Southern Plantations.
Whether you like Adirondack Lodges or Southern Quail Plantations, Old Fishing Camps or Big Game Fishing Clubs, you will enjoy the fine "Sporting Treasures" that can add the finishing touches to your home, office, lodge, lakeside cabin, or beach house.
